Match Report
Another great victory for APOEL tonight against Ermis for the Cyprus Cup quarterfinals, winning 5-0. The match started off with a slow pace and APOEL managing to control it however. Within fifteen minutes APOEL had raised the pace and the first goal was scored very soon. At 17’, after a great pass by Poursaitides, Pinto scored the first goal. APOEL missed a lot more chances later one with Mirosavljevic making the 2-0 after a clever pass by Zewlakow just before the end of the first half.
The second half saw our team starting off very calm forcing its own rhythm to the game. Ermis was in no way able to react accordingly and our team managed to score its third goal at 59’ with Koutsopoulos, at 75’ and 90’ with Mirosavljevic making the final 5-0.
