Match Report
Despite the number of absences APOEL FC had today, our team managed to win against APOP and move up the leader board. At just the 2 minutes, Zewlakow opened the score but from then on the rest of the first half did not provide for any noteworthy moments.
The second half was more interesting with our team managing to maintain the score until 84’ when Michael marked 2-0 after a successful penalty kick taken for a foul committed on Papathanasiou. Six minutes later and (again) after a foul on Poursaitides, Mirosavljevic took another penalty shoot marking what looked was going to be the final 3-0. It wasn’t over for penalty kicks however as APOP was awarded a penalty just before the final whistle with Semedo marking the final 3-1.
