Match Report
Our team won 2-0 against Aris making it its fourth consecutive win in the Cyprus Championship bringing APOEL FC to the top of the leader board (having one game less than the rest of the teams of course).
Despite starting the game at a slow pace our team quickly found its optimum pace and gave an early indication of its intentions. At 21’, after a pass from Satsias, Kontis sent the ball to the net with a strong shoot making the score 1-0.
Our team started the second half determined to score another goal and this was achieved at 75’ when Charalambides took a successful penalty kick which was given after a foul on Alexandrou by Entzema. This marked the final score of the match.
